Welcome to Cwac Cwac's!
We are delighted to welcome you and your little one to Cwac Cwac's.
Our aim is to provide a safe, fun and supportive environment where children can build water confidence and enjoy learning to swim.
To help everything run smoothly for all families, please read our Terms and Conditions carefully before booking.
By booking lessons with Cwac Cwac's, you are agreeing to the terms outlined below.
1. General Information
All lessons take place at:
Cwac Cwac's HQ
Unit 1–4 Trecenydd Industrial Estate
Caerphilly
CF83 2TE

Parent and child lessons require one parent or carer to be in the water at all times.

Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before your lesson and vacate the changing areas promptly afterwards so we can clean and prepare for the next session.

Children must remain supervised at all times whilst on the premises.

Please be respectful of other families and keep noise to a minimum in waiting areas.
2. Payments and Bookings

Lesson fees must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

Spaces are only confirmed once payment has been received.
-
We cannot reserve or hold spaces without payment.
-
All bookings are final and non-refundable once payment has been made.

Missed lessons cannot be refunded unless Cwac Cwac's cancels the lesson and no alternative can be offered.

Please use your child's name as the payment reference.

Failure to pay by the deadline may result in your space being released to another family.
3. Missed Lessons, Cancellations and Tokens
We understand that sometimes life happens and lessons may need to be missed.

If you are unable to attend, you must cancel your lesson via the Parent Portal with at least 24 hours' notice.
-
If sufficient notice is given, you will automatically receive a token.

Tokens can only be used to book catch-up lessons and are always subject to availability.
Token Rules:
-
Tokens are only issued when 24 hours' notice is given.
-
Tokens must be used within the same term/block they were issued.
-
Tokens cannot be transferred into future terms.
-
Tokens expire automatically at the end of each term/block.
-
Tokens cannot be used towards term payments or future lesson blocks.
-
Tokens can only be used against available catch-up spaces.
-
If your cancelled lesson falls within the final week of the term/block, and there is no reasonable opportunity to use that token, we will allow that token to be carried forward for catch-up purposes only.

Catch-up lessons are not guaranteed and depend entirely on availability.

If less than 24 hours' notice is given, no token will be issued.
4. Pool Safety and Hygiene
For the safety and hygiene of all swimmers:

No outdoor shoes are permitted poolside.
-
Long hair must be tied back.
-
Jewellery should be removed before entering the pool.
-
All children who are not fully toilet trained must wear approved double-layer swim nappies.
-
Please dispose of nappies responsibly or take them home.
-
Parents and carers are responsible for ensuring children are clean and ready before entering the pool.
5. Sickness Policy
Your child's health and the safety of all swimmers is our highest priority.
Please do not attend lessons if your child is unwell.
This includes:

Sickness
-
Diarrhoea
-
Fever
-
Persistent cough
-
Contagious illness
-
Any symptoms that may affect the health of others
Children must be free from sickness and diarrhoea for 48 hours before returning to lessons.
Swimming while unwell increases the risk of spreading infection and contaminating the pool.
Feeding Before Swimming
Please avoid feeding your child within 1 hour of their lesson where possible. This helps reduce the risk of sickness in the pool.
If Sickness Occurs in the Pool
If a child vomits or has a faecal accident in the pool, we may be legally required to close the pool immediately for cleaning, shock treatment and water testing. This can result in several hours of closure and multiple cancelled lessons.
If the pool must close due to sickness or contamination caused by a swimmer:

No refunds will be issued.

A catch-up lesson may be offered where space allows.

Cwac Cwac's accepts no liability for losses caused by closures due to contamination incidents.
6. Cancellations by Cwac Cwac's
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a lesson due to maintenance, staff illness, water quality, plant failure or unforeseen circumstances, we will always aim to offer a replacement lesson.

If a replacement cannot be offered, a refund or credit will be provided.

Cwac Cwac's reserves the right to close or cancel lessons at any time where safety may be compromised.
7. Behaviour and Respect

We ask all families to treat staff, other parents and children with kindness and respect.

Aggressive, abusive, threatening or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Cwac Cwac's reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person from the premises where behaviour is deemed inappropriate.

In serious cases, your booking may be cancelled without refund.
8. Photography and Social Media

Photography and video recording during lessons is not permitted without prior permission.

From time to time, Cwac Cwac's may take photographs for marketing and social media purposes.

Permission will always be requested before any images are used.
9. Liability

Cwac Cwac's accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.

Parents and carers remain fully responsible for their child's safety before, during and after lessons unless otherwise instructed by a teacher.

All activities are undertaken at your own risk.

By attending lessons, you confirm that your child is medically fit to participate.
-
Any medical conditions, allergies or additional needs must be disclosed before lessons begin.
10. Changes to Terms

Cwac Cwac's reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Any updates will be communicated to customers and published through our booking system.
